What’s your dress code?
AU is a welcoming space so just show up as you are with good hygiene, please. Also be sure to check event descriptions for specific dress codes, if any. We expect our members and their guests to dress presentably and appropriately for the venue and for the event they’re attending.

$10 dollars a month or $100 for the year
What do I get as a member?
All play/sex events are restricted to members and their guests. Some events may allow for a day pass/trial membership, check the event description for details. Rentals As a member, you can run your own events at the space! You can host up to any number of pre-registered guests (within capacity, ~50), for an hourly and/or flat fee. As always, you take responsibility for all of your guests. Please remember that Asylum Underground is an 18+ sober venue. No one under the age of 18 is allowed entrance. Alcohol and other drug use is prohibited on premises.
Membership aids vetting?
There are no “off-the-street” rando’s for full-impact events; everyone attending is known. The building has limited access. This improves safety for everyone.
What can I expect?
We don’t know how you will perceive the space, so here is what we can tell you. AU provides a learning and gathering space for a diverse sex-positive community. Have an open mind, each event adds a little bit of spice to your life, so come on in and enjoy. Do you have lockers and/or showers? We have locker for our guests’ personal items. Or you can place them on one of our coat racks. As for showers the space currently does not have any.
Do you allow cell phones?
It depends on the area you are in. We prefer phones not to be allowed in the dungeon/ play space due to confidentiality. However, photography is allowed at specific events. Those events will have a photography warning in the description.

What are your rules?
This is our new member orientation this has everything you should know before becoming a member of AU or one of their guests.
These are our standing values:
Respect Members are expected to grant one another respect whenever interacting in any venue controlled by the Organization (whether physical or digital), and/or whenever acting in any organizational capacity. In their other dealings, members are expected to behave with at least a basic modicum of respect for the humanity of other persons. This excludes any situations where prior consent has been granted otherwise.
Inclusivity The Organization and its membership are expected to welcome everyone, regardless of race, ethnicity, sex, gender, orientation, disability status, body type, or age.
Diversity in lived experience and perspective is to be encouraged in membership, staffing, and leadership.
Consent No Member or guest may intentionally touch any other person or any of their possessions without prior consent. Members are furthermore encouraged to learn about current practices regarding consent and boundaries, and how to best apply that understanding in all relevant circumstances.
Confidentiality The Organization and its membership should always take into consideration that many if not most of its members may be understandably wary of their personal information (including the very fact of their membership) being exposed to the general public. The confidentiality and privacy of Member information should always be respected and handled carefully wherever and whenever possible.
Community The Organization should not only seek to foster a community among itself, but also foster positive relations with the greater kink, lgbtqia++, and sex-positive communities (where there is much overlap). Community-related endeavors such as education and outreach should be included among the services that the Organization provides for its membership. These core values are held in high regard and why Asylum Underground is in existence.
Management reserves the right to refuse service or dismiss anyone from the venue and property at any time.
